I have been focusing my passion and attention on relationships and community building for over 25 years. I have been involved in a committed personal relationship as well as cooperative living and working environments – and have experienced what works and what doesn’t work.
My early attempts were rooted in romantic idealism and lacked personal awareness, understanding of human dynamics, and the tools necessary to sustain healthy relationships and facilitate successful collaboration.
Over the years, I became involved in much personal growth and obtained a seminary degree with a focus on counseling, spiritual direction, conflict resolution, and community building. I have lived more than 12 years in intentional community, and helped start and/or manage several collaborative businesses.
Today, I continue to focus much of my passion and attention on relationships and community building, working with individuals, couples, and groups. I work at practical methods for community formation – with more information on my website and blogs, Habitat Re-Imagined and Re-Imagining the Way.
My work has culminated in the process I use to integrate the areas I see as essential to healthy relationships and successful collaboration. A CoCreative Path starts with personal awareness and establishing clear intention, moves to authentic and empathic connection with others, clarifies alignment of collective values and needs, and builds effective collaboration with participatory decision making and conflict transformation.
I incorporate and integrate the insight, methods, and essential tools gained from my experiences over the years. Please go to the various pages and/or contact me to learn more about the process and services I provide to empower conscious relationships and collaborative innovation in families, business, and community.
